My dear friend Laine and I had been trying to get a session scheduled for FOREVER, but being the fierce girl boss that she is, she was booked with frequent travel over the past few months.
Thankfully when February rolled around, both Laine and hubby Sammie were able to carve out some time on a picture perfect Saturday in Downtown Nashville - and it happened to be Laine's birthday weekend! Things couldn't have turned out any better and I'm so grateful I got to celebrate with them both.

A "must" on Laine's list was this fun Jason Woodside mural in the Gulch, just a short walk from her and Sammie's condo. It's the perfect expression of her personality - bright, bold, and lively!
A short walk away, we stumbled upon a Pop Up Valentine's Gulch Night Market in Grace's Alley which was the perfect setting to capture some adorable couple shots!
Doesn't Laine look like she should be (or I guess, should've been) Miss Tennessee?!
She's actually a rare true Nashville native so I personally thought the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, with all it's gorgeous views of the city, was a must.
It's always an honor getting to capture and celebrate the important moments in peoples' lives, but it means so much more when it's with dear friends. Thanks for letting me be a part of your birthday celebration, Laine and Sammie!
